Coming to iPhone. Starting in Manhattan.
No chat.Just the date.
WingMate is an AI-powered dating app with no messaging. When you both say yes, it finds an activity, a time you are both actually free, and a place in Manhattan. Your AIs have already met. Now you two just show up.
You are on the list.
We will email you when early access opens. Nothing else. Unsubscribe any time. 18+.

You matched three weeks ago.
You are still texting.
You still have not met.
Stop kissing frogs.
Somewhere out there is someone who wants what you want. Between you and them: hundreds of matches who do not.
The usual fix is more swiping, more texting, more Thursdays spent finding out on the night that it was never going to work. WingMate takes the other route. By the time you see a match, it has already compared what you are each looking for, so you know where you line up before you decide on a date. If you both want one, WingMate plans it.
Fewer dates, chosen on purpose.
How it works
Three steps. One of them is a date.
Step 1
Say what actually works for you
Eighteen topics. For each one: what is true of you, what you could live with in someone else, and how much a difference there would really matter. There are no right answers, and a partial answer is still useful. Topics you skip are recorded as unknown, never as a problem.
Step 2
Match
Swipe the way you already know how. Only your eighteen answers are compared, and only after you both say yes. Not your photos. Not your personality results. Not your bio.
Step 3
Get a date, not a thread
There is no message box. WingMate picks one activity, one time you are both free, and one place, and you each accept it or ask for a different one.
The letter
You find out what you are walking into.
Every mutual match gets a letter, S through D, and a map of your answers topic by topic. Where you fit. What is worth discussing. What neither of you has answered yet.
It is not a score of you, and it is not a prediction about the two of you. It compares what you each have shared and how compatible you are across various dimensions. The more you share, the better the results.
If there are not enough answers from both sides to compare, WingMate says exactly that instead of inventing a low grade.
SABCD
Where you fit.
What is worth discussing.
What neither of you has answered yet.
Matching the intention.
The date
The neighborhood now. The address five hours before.
When a date is set you see the activity, the time, and roughly a three mile area. The exact venue, the address and the pin appear five hours before you meet, with a countdown.
That gap is deliberate. You can plan your evening around a neighborhood. Nobody needs your exact location three days out.
WingMate reads your calendar to find a time, and only the times.
What WingMate does not do
A short list, because it is the point.
- No chat. There is no member to member messaging anywhere in the app.
- No compatibility score on a person. Topics and a letter about your answers. Never a number on a human being.
- No income, no job filter, no body type. WingMate does not collect them. Status filtering is not a feature we forgot to build.
- It never posts anywhere on your behalf. Privacy and safety are paramount.
- Your personality results stay yours. They are walled off from matching entirely. They exist so you can read them.
Who this is for
Starting in Manhattan.
WingMate plans dates at real places, which means it only works where it genuinely knows the ground. Right now that is Manhattan. The waitlist is open to adults 18 and over anywhere in the US, and we will open cities in the order the list fills.
Long term or casual, both are first class. You pick which, and WingMate compares your answers inside the thing you actually chose.
FAQ
Is this just another dating app?
It has the same front door and a completely different back half. You swipe. Then instead of a chat window, you get a date with a time and a place.
Why can’t I message my match?
Because the message was where it was going to die. Everything you would have spent three days establishing, the letter tells you up front.
Who picks the place?
WingMate does, from a catalog of real venues, checked against opening hours, accessibility and the weather forecast before it is offered. It proposes and schedules the date once accepted.
What do you do with my calendar?
By default, only busy and free times leave your phone. Sharing event names, notes, attendees or locations is encouraged, never required.
Does WingMate use AI?
Yes, including OpenAI, to learn about you and your preferences and for private suggestions like your bio draft, date planning and photo advice. It is guidance, not fact, and not a diagnosis. You approve what gets used.
When does it launch?
It is in private testing on iPhone now. The waitlist is how you get in when early access opens. We will not spam you in the meantime.
